Worldwide phenomenon MasterChef has screened in more than 200 countries across the globe, but the man behind its huge success manages to skip the spotlight.
The English businessman, television producer and publisher who created one of history’s most successful franchises is none other than Franc Roddam, writer and director of “Waltzing Matilda”.
Franc Roddam directed the 70′s cult film Quadrophenia, as well as the 1991 climbing hit K2. Waltzing Matilda marks a return to the big screen for one of the UK’s most significant contributors to film and television.
Along with co-writer Scott Roberts, who also scripted Dennis Hopper’s film The American Way, Roddam is set to return to his passion in true style.
